Wide Chris Jordan to Jos Buttler. Length ball, wide outside off stump no foot movement Leave, Left to wicketkeeper for 1 run, fielded by Rahul. Rajasthan Royals win by seven wickets. RR displayed an excellent performance with the bat tonight, chasing down a huge target with ease and with many deliveries to spare. This win by RR has stirred up many possibilities in the points table, making it all the more interesting. Ben Stokes made 50, well accompanied by Sanju Samson with 48. Steven Smith and Jos Buttler played fine cameos of 31 and 22 respectively. For Punjab, Murugan Ashwin and Chris Jordan picked up a wicket each. Punjab's bowling attack has failed to defend a decent target and has made it harder for them to qualify for the play-offs. Punjab and Rajasthan remain fourth and fifth respectively with 12 points each. Ben Stokes has been adjudged as the man of the match for his all-round performance tonight. Match Preview

After a miserable start to the tournament, the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) managed to turn things around quite emphatically. With five wins in a row, they have managed to forge into the top four. However, their job is just half done as yet. Seven out of eight teams are still competing for a spot in the top four even though the Mumbai Indians (MI) have more or less made it. KXIP will have to win this game at all costs to improve their chances of making it into the playoffs.
