Kamlesh Nagarkoti to Varun Aaron. Short, outside off stump backing away Steer, missed to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Karthik. Kolkata Knight Riders win by 60 runs. They looked well in control of the game from the start and they performed good with the bat and the ball. Jos Buttler top-scored with 35. None of the other batsmen anchored an innings and got going. Rahul Tewatia made 31 but it still was not enough as the target was just too big after the quick fall of the top order. KKR did well to contain Rajasthan with the target. Pat Cummins was exceptional with the ball as he startled the top order and picked up four wickets. Varun Chakravarthy and Shivam Mavi picked up a couple of wickets and Kamlesh Nagarkoti picked up a wicket. Pat Cummins has been adjudged as the man of the match for his excellent performance. Join us for tomorrows match between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Live from Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Until then, cheers.

Weather Report & Pitch Condition

It will be a bit cooler in the evening in Dubai on Sunday. The temperature will stay around 29-30 Degrees Celsius while there has been no rain throughout the IPL season.

The pitches in Dubai have started supporting the spinners with a lot of matches being played. Chasing has been tough throughout the season and the team winning the toss is expected to bat first. Having said that, dew has began to come into equation and it will play a role in the decision making too.

KOL vs RR Top Picks

  • Nitish Rana – Nitish Rana wasn’t at its best for most part of the tournament but it seems he’s arrived just when it mattered the most. Rana has two 80+ scores post his promotion as an opener. He’ll be absolutely crucial for KKR in setting the tone for the KKR’s response with the bat.
  • Eoin Morgan – Eoin Morgan has been one of the most consistent batsmen of KKR in the second half of the IPL 2020. With Dinesh Karthik demoted down as a finisher, Morgan might come up the order to take charge of KKR’s batting.
  • Sunil Narine – Sunil Narine is KKR’S most valuable player. He might be not that consistent with the bat but as a bowler he’s the best of all. He’ll be hoping to make RR batsmen dance to his tunes.
  • Ben Stokes – Ben stokes has been an invaluable addition to the Rajasthan Royals team. He backed up his brilliant century with an impressive 50 against Punjab. Stokes need to a big part if RR has to keep their hopes alive.
  • Sanju Samson – Sanju Samson too came up with back to back performances against Mumbai and Punjab. He looks in terrific touch and is a major threat to Kolkata Knight Riders
  • Jofra Archer – Jofra Archer has been phenomenal for Rajasthan. Match after match he’s delivered match winning performances for RR. He’ll post a stern challenge to Kolkata.
