Punam Raut played a magnificent innings of 65 runs off 92 balls for 7 fours, while India Women captain Mithali Raj outstandingly amassed 66 runs off 82 balls after hitting 8 fours. India wicketkeeper Taniya Bhatia and Harmanpreet Kaur remained not out towards the end of the innings.

India Women have now secured the three-match ODI series against South Africa Women by 2-0 with one match to go. India Women defeated South Africa Women by 8 wickets with 50 balls remaining as they chased the target of 165 runs in the first ODI. India also won the six-match T20I series against South Africa Women by 3-1 with two matches being abandoned. The third and last ODI of South Africa Women tour of India will be played on October 14.
