England, Australia players to go under 6-day isolation: IPL 13

As per the quarantine rules and restricted protocols that are being followed at UAE for the Indian Premier League (IPL 13), the England and Australia players will be sent to a six-day quarantine upon their arrival from UAE to Dubai.

However, the scenario is highly dependent upon the player’s home base. The contestants with Dubai as their home ground will directly be subjected to their squads after they will be COVID-19 negative once. The plot gets twisted for those who will have to head at Abu Dhabi to join their respective squads.

Currently, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders have got Abu Dhabi their backyards. Out of the duo, MI can enjoy the opportunity to get their every player in action in their opening match as none of their players are from England or Australia. On the other hand, KKR have Eoin Morgan, Tom Banton, and Pat Cummins, who have arrived from the UK on Thursday. Unfortunately, the trio cannot take part in the opening match of KKR that is to be played on 23rd September – the day when the quarantine period will be ended.
