Match Preview

It’s going to be the first double-header of this season on Saturday. Delhi will take on Kolkata at Sharjah in the second match. There could not have been a better clash for the weekend than a battle of sixes between two very good teams. Delhi are coming off their first loss of the season as a change of venue affected their winning momentum. They are expected to get the most out of their hitting abilities at a batting paradise in Sharjah with the likes of Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer in the middle order. Moreover, their bowling has been top-notch this season so far. With two wins in three games, a win here in this upcoming match against Kolkata will put them back in contention for the top spot on the points table.

DC vs KOL Top Picks

Shubman Gill : He has had a good start of his tournament and in the last two matches he was highest scorer of his team with 71* runs against Hyderabad and 47 against Rajasthan and will look to continue his good form in this match as well.
Rishabh Pant : Pant has had good starts in all three matches but couldn’t convert them into big one so he will be more deter mind to play a big knock against Knight Riders.
Andre Russell : Russell didn’t get enough time or chances to show his power but in the last match he hit three sixes and showed what he can do. At batting 5 or 6 he can score a lot of runs even in 10-12 balls and will also look to help his team with a few overs towards back end of the innings.
Kagiso Rabada : He has been excellent so far and with 7 wickets from 3 matches he has shown his form. Bowls most of the overs in end so he always has good chances of taking wickets.
