SIX! Abdul Samad to Sam Curran. Leg spinner length ball, outside off stump down the track Slog, well timed in the air under control over long on for 6 runs. It's SRH. SRH beats CSK by seven runs. Jadeja top-scored with 50 and was well supported by MS Dhoni who remained unbeaten 47. Sam Curran played a useful knock of 15. This is the third loss in a row for CSK. On behalf of SRH Natarajan picked up two wickets and Rashid bowled excellently, four overs and just conceded 12. Rest of the bowlers were decent enough to restrict CSK. CSK has a lot of thinking to do, and SRH have found the winning ways back. Priyam Garg is the Player of the match for his excellent batting performance. Join us back tomorrow for the double header, until then cheers.

Match Preview

Both Chennai and Hyderabad had a similar start of their campaign with the latter being ahead in terms of NRR. Being one of the most successful teams in the history of the tournament, Chennai hasn’t had the start they have expected. They have struggled to continue their winning momentum after the first game against Mumbai in the season opener. They are currently at the bottom on the points table with only one win in three games. Their poor intent with the bat seems to be the major reason behind their slow start in their campaign. With Faf du Plessis already doing well at number three, Chennai will get back the service of Rayudu in the middle order which may change their fortunes in upcoming matches.

Weather Report & Pitch Condition

The weather forecast in Dubai shows zero chances of rain during the course of the match. The temperature will be around 33 Degree Celsius and dew factor will play a role in the second innings.

The Dubai wicket proved to be assisting both batting and bowling in the last few games. We can expect the spinners to play a key role for their team on the basis of the dimensions of the stadium. However, it is expected to be a dry and flat pitch and batting second has been difficult on this surface.

Average first innings score:

CSK vs SRH Top Picks

David Warner : David Warner has had an average tournament so far but with match to match he is progressing well as his scores read 6, 36 and 45 so he is going in right direction and will be eager to play a big knock against Chennai and if he survives first a few overs of new ball then he can do a lot of damage.
Jonny Bairstow : With two fifties from three innings Jonny Bairstow has had a good start of his tournament and he will be confident to continue his good run against Super Kings as well.
Faf du Plessis : Faf du Plessis has been fantastic batting at number three as he has scored two fifties and one forty plus scores in the first three innings and seeing his batting and form he should have a good game against Hyderabad as well.
Sam Curran : He has been the best player from Chennai Super Kings till now as he has bowled well with new ball, in middle as well as in death overs and in batting he played beautiful cameos against Mumbai and Rajasthan.

Who Will Win Today Match?
