SIX! Kamlesh Nagarkoti to Ravindra Jadeja. Length ball, to leg on the front foot Slog, well timed in the air under control over long on for 6 runs. Jadeja finishes off in style! Back-to-back maximums to gift CSK another win. Into the skies and over long-on! Chennai Super Kings win by six wickets. Ruturaj Gaikwad was the main reason CSK even got close to the target and he top-scored with 72. Sir Ravindra Jadeja, the hero of the night who took his team home with a mighty six and played a fine cameo of 31 from 11 deliveries. CSK have clearly ruined KKR's party and their chances of qualifying for the play-offs. Pat Cummins and Varun Chakravarthy picked up a couple of wickets each. CSK did a pretty good job with the bat and the ball tonight. Ruturaj Gaikwad has been adjudged as the man of the match for his excellent performance with the bat. KKR remain fifth in the points table and CSK remain last. Join us for tomorrow's match played between Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals. Live from Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Until then, cheers.

OUT! Bowled. Pat Cummins to Ruturaj Gaikwad. Length ball, outside off stump moves in front Scoop, missed to. Cummins crashes Gaikwad's party. You-miss-I-hit stuff. Gaikwad goes for the cheeky paddle scoop but makes contact with thin air. Bowled! All over. Gaikwad got a taste of Cummins' pace and he decided to leave his stumps exposed. His intention was right, there was no fielder in the deep behind square on the leg side but could not make contact with the ball. He walks back after an excellent inning of 72

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) could be the only team to be knocked out the tournament at this stage. But they can still be the party spoilers for the other teams. This is something they will experience for the first time ever in the IPL and would want to have some fun towards the back end of the tournament. They got the better of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their last game and will look to drag down the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) with them this time around.

CSK vs KOL Top Picks

  • Faf du Plessis: Faf du Plessis has looked class apart in the tournament. He is the most consistent Chennai batsmen and will hold the key for them against Kolkata
  • Ruturaj Gailkwad: The move to promote Gaikwad at the top finally paid dividend as he played a scintillating knock against the RCB. He is expected to carry on his good run
  • Sam Curran: Sam Curran has given his all for CSK this season. Scoring runs or picking up wickets, he’s been terrific for them.
  • Eoin Morgan: Eoin Morgan has been the most consistent player for Kolkata in the last few matches. He has played several quick knocks in the tournament but hasn’t quite exploded to get a massive score. With Dinesh Karthik  going through a horrible time, he might promote himself up the order which will give him an opportunity to play more number of balls and get a big one.
  • Nitish Rana: Nitish Rana made an impressive 81 against Punjab in IPL 2020, showing signs of a man returning to form .He can be backed to play another big knock against CSK
  • Sunil Narine: Sunil Narine is the most valuable player in the KKR set up. With the bat or with the ball, he’s a definite match winner. He’ll be very difficult to handle for CSK on a sluggish pitch

Dream 11 IPL 2020
